Method 2: Fork

Cut a piece of yarn.

Wrap the yarn around the fork tines 20 times.

Insert the cut piece of yarn through the middle of the times under and over the wrapped yarn and tie the yarn tightly.

Slide the pom pom off of the fork.

Method 3: (Small Pom Pom Maker)

Use the small pom pom maker like usual but only wrap the yarn around 20 times.

Directions and Assembly

Make a small pom pom that is between 1 and 2 inches.

Crochet 2 cat ears.

Attach the cat ears by threading 1 of the yarn ends into a darning needle and sew it through the middle of the pom pom. Thread the other end through the darning needle and sew through the middle of the pom pom. Tie the ends together and trim to hide the ends. Do this to both ears.

Attach the nose and whiskers by taking 1 strand and thread it through a darning needle. Sew it through the middle of the pom pom where you would like the nose to go. Take another strand on the other side of the nose and thread it through the darning needle. Sew it through the middle of the pom pom. Tie both ends together and trim to hide them.

Open the jump rings and attach as many as you would like together and close them to secure them together. Pliers are helpful with this.

Attach the lobster clasp or key chain to the jump rings.

Squirt hot glue on the top of the cat pom pom, between the ears and press the last jump ring into the glue.

The End!
